Remedy Auto Detail
Terms of Service 

When you book online or via phone with Remedy Auto Detail, you should read and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking prior to making an appointment. Once an appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions herein.

Booking Terms & Conditions​

Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, any belongings contained inside of the vehicle or to the location of service. Assure that your vehicle is being serviced in a

lawful and safe area and if you feel otherwise please communicate your concerns with the technician.

​

• All vehicles are cleaned at the customer's own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail, its employees or its vendors do not accept liability for discharged batteries during or after the service has been completed. Please inspect your vehicle after the service is rendered to assure all interior lights, headlights, or running lights have been turned off.

​

• We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking.

​

• Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing service.

​

• We reserve the right to use any independent contractor to undertake your auto detailing and may need to change the detailer at short notice without penalty.

​

• Whilst every effort will be made to keep scheduled bookings to the requested arrival window, unforeseen circumstances may cause lateness and are done so without voiding our cancellation policy.

​

• We reserve the right to take debit or credit card details to secure the booking. Debit/Credit cards shall be processed by UrPay, powered by Fullsteam.com

​

• We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.

​

• All vehicles are cleaned at the customer's own risk.

​

• All orders placed require name, address, phone number (to text updates) and an email address. 

​

• All orders placed require the selection of a service package with correct vehicle size selected. Service requests are not guaranteed at time of booking and may be cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of Remedy Auto Detail. 

​

• All services are starting estimates  based on moderately soiled vehicles. Visual photo and or video inspections will be performed the day of the service to document vehicle size and condition before and after each service. There may be additional approvals recommended or required as the technician sees fit per vehicle.

 

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered.

​

Advance Payments 

• Remedy Auto Detail may ask you for an advance payment on any booked service or purchase made through our website. An advance payment is a partial payment of the total purchase price that covers the cost of materials needed to complete the selected service(s). By supplying an advance payment, you are also pre-authorizing the scheduled service. 

​

A full refund of the advance payment will be issued in the event we cancel your purchase. 

​

Deposits

• Remedy Auto Detail may ask you for a deposit on any booked service or purchase made through our website. A deposit is required to reserve your scheduled appointment. Prices vary based on service(s) selected.

​

• Deposits are non refundable. If the appointment is canceled properly, and then rescheduled within 20 days, the deposit amount will go towards the next scheduled appointment. 

​

Pricing Terms & Conditions

We have a minimum call-out charge that varies by location for our mobile services.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to charge an hourly rate of $175 (or proportion thereof) for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking.

​

• A minimum 20% surcharge will be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair removal  sand removal, excessive garbage removal, and  the removal of personal belongings that require more than one small (shopping bag) size bag to fill. 

​

• A minimum 40% surcharge plus the cost of the proper PPE (personal protective equipment) will be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to deny any services that include, but not limited to urine, vomit, blood, feces, mold or other hazardous materials.

​

• Our prices are based on the detailing service, location, vehicle type, vehicle size and condition and will be advertised as a STARTING price.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to amend any price during the detailing service should it differ from the original estimate.​

​

• Prices online do not include any local and/or state taxes that apply to services.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail offers services on this website. The price of these services are customized based on your needs, which means that you will be provide with a quote from us after we determine your needs. This price does not include taxes or other fees that you may be charged.

Communications

Remedy Auto Detail will send you SMS text messages to confirm your service request, provide information about the detailer matched to your job, and may conduct a customer satisfaction survey after the job is completed. Depending on your mobile phone service, you may incur costs from these SMS text messages from your mobile phone service provider. Remedy Auto Detail is not responsible for any of these potential costs.

• Remedy Auto Detail may send service reminders, promotions, links, and newsletters through SMS text messages and or via email with the customer provided contact information.

    

• Remedy Auto Detail may call you directly to schedule your service or conduct a customer satisfaction survey. In the event of a canceled request, we may call you to inquire about your reasons for canceling.

• All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality

assurance.

​

Our Service Terms & Conditions

We may ask you where you heard about Remedy Auto Detail in order to gauge our marketing strategies.

​

• We may conduct customer satisfaction surveys.

​

• We must have permission to hold a debit or credit card to secure a regular booking and we will charge the card after each visit.

​

• We reserve the right to charge a debit or credit card the full amount should the

vehicles(s) not be available for cleaning and the booking has not been cancelled in

advance (see cancellation policy).

​

Cancellation Terms & Conditions

We require 24 hours notice from the start of the arrival window to cancel any booking/detailing services, at our shop location or mobile service. All appointments must be cancelled by calling Remedy Auto Detail at 315-651-3210 or by email to gary@remedyautodetail.com .

​

• You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel your appointment in accordance with the instructions above. Failure to provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the service cost. If the canceled appointment was previously paid in full, you will be issued a partial refund.  

​

• Same day appointments that are cancelled will incur a charge up to 50% of the service cost.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail  reserves the right to take full payment up to if a booking is cancelled on the day of service without prior agreement which fails to follow the cancelation instructions above.

​

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty, but wherever possible, will let the customer know via customer supplied contact information.

​

• We reserve the right to cancel your appointment or retail purchase for any reason, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to fraud, inaccuracies, and unavailability of the retail items or services purchased. You will be notified immediately via customer supplied contact information if we plan on cancelling your purchase. A partial refund of the purchase price that you paid will be issued if we cancel your purchase.

• Remedy Auto Detail reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.

​

• Failure to be present at the time and location of the ordered mobile service , (unless previously discussed and agreed upon) will result in the full value of the service being charged.

​

Refund Policy

• Remedy Auto Detail does not offer refunds for any purchases made through this Website or through our UrAble store. This includes, but is not limited to appointment bookings , services, retail products, and e-gift cards. 

​

Service Guarantee

If there is probable and clear cause that the service technician did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost, redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service or up to a partial or full refund of the service. 

​

• Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization from Remedy Auto Detail voids our Service Guarantee. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.

​

• Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service limits any refunds to 20% of the value of your service.

​

• Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redos, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.

​

• Some issues may require services beyond those you ordered. Refusing the services recommended by customer service or your on-site technician may invalidate the service guarantee.

​

• Only services included in your order and additional services authorized by Remedy Auto Detail are covered under our service guarantee. Any services not authorized by Remedy Auto Detail are at customer's own risk.

​

• Our on-site technician may take photographs and/or videos to document the before and after condition of your vehicle, including the license plate. Preventing the technician from doing so will invalidate our service guarantee and any redo appointments or refunds are at the sole discretion of Remedy Auto Detail.

​

• Full payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at the sole discretion of Remedy Auto Detail. 

​

• Filing a credit card dispute/chargeback for billed services invalidates our service guarantee and no refunds or redo appointments will be authorized.

​

• Claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service by emailing gary@remedyautodetail.com  , subject: Claims + (customer name).

​

Gift Certificates

For payer verification purposes, Gift Certificates and eGiftCards have a 48 hour holding period before they can be redeemed for services.

​

• Gift Certificates and eGiftCards can only be used once per vehicle per service.

​

• Gift certificates or eGiftCards can not be combined or redeemed with any other additional discounts, coupons, or promotions.

​

• The final price for services rendered may exceed the value of this gift certificate.

​

• Additional charges may apply to the redeemer if they choose a package that exceeds the cash value of their gift certificate.

​

• Additional surcharges for excessive pet hair, biological waste, other hazardous materials, larger vehicles, excessive damage, or other issues may apply.

​

• Gift certificates reflect a cash value. Prices for services may adjust due to seasonality, location, inflation, or demand.

​

• Any balances for services ordered are due at time of service and do not include additional services, tax, or gratuity.

​

• Gift certificates or eGiftCards obtained through promotions, raffles etc. cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

​

• After 3 months of non-use the gift certificate or eGiftCard is non-refundable.

​

No warranty on purchases

The items or services displayed or sold on this Website are provided “as is,” No warranty, express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability, of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose or use) shall apply to any items or services displayed or sold on this Website, whether arising by law, course of dealing, course of performance, usage of trade or otherwise.

Remedies

You agree that the remedy for breach of this Terms of Service as it relates to your purchase shall be none. You also agree that the remedy for breach of this Terms of Service as it relates to your purchase shall be to pursue dispute resolution as provided in the “governing law, severability, dispute resolution, venue and class action waiver” section below. These remedies intended to be your sole and exclusive remedies for any breach of this Terms of Service as it relates to your purchase.

 

Prohibited uses

You agree that you will use this Website in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and these terms at all times. The following is a non-exhaustive list of prohibited uses of this Website. You agree that you will not perform any of the following prohibited uses:

  1. Impersonating or attempting to impersonate Remedy Auto Detail or its employees, representatives, subsidiaries or divisions;

  2. Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with any person or entity;

  3. Sending or attempting to send any advertising or promotional material, including but not limited to spam, junk mail, chain mail or any similar material;

  4. Engaging in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any person’s use or enjoyment of the Website, or which, as determined in our sole discretion, may harm us or the users of this Website or expose us or other users to liability;

  5. Using the Website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage or impair the Website or interfere with another party’s use of the Website;

  6. Using any robot, spider or other similar automatic technology, process or means to access or use the Website for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on this Website;

  7. Using any manual process or means to monitor or copy any of the material on this Website or for any other unauthorized purpose;

Governing law, severability, dispute resolution and venue

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. These terms shall not be governed by the United Nations convention on contracts for the sale of international goods, the Uniform Commercial Code, nor Incoterms.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
