When I (Gary Barrell) was only 13, I would ride my bike down the main strip to a local gathering of hotrods that would fill the parking lot up. Immediately, I was hooked and strived to get a hobby car of my own one day, knowing I needed to figure out how to keep it looking amazing. An entire parking lot filled with shiny classic muscle cars was quite a sight to see to say the very least. I would go up to all the car owners to ask how they always kept their cars so clean. Surprisingly, they all answered with many different unique methods to attain the same goal. At times, it sounded like they took an easy task and added a bunch of unnecessary steps. I always knew there was a better way! A few years later , I started working at a local car wash, learning the basics of how to clean cars from a business standpoint that heavily enforced efficiency! I aspired to be one of their vehicle detailers and eventually obtained that position. 

Before officially opening Remedy Auto Detail in 2024, I've spent decades working within the automotive industry in managerial roles as well as within Nuclear as a Level II NDE inspector. Mechanics, customer service, and stringent safety measures have always been my focus.

As time goes on, technology, paint and chemicals advance. I find it fun, and extremely important to be always learning as things rapidly evolve. One of the most significant advances in the detailing industry has been the introduction of high quality, eco-friendly products that do not have any PFAS / "forever chemicals". Since then, we've chosen to always use products, including all of our ceramic coatings, that utilize this safe approach. When combining these products with proper technique, they are safe for you, your kids, your vehicle, our employees and the environment all while obtaining the main goal to keep your ride sparkling and your interior enjoyably safe! Our maintenance washes alone, typically use less than 2 gallons of water to effectively clean! Sustaining an eco-friendly approach is one of the many areas that sets us apart from other local detailers. We live in a region that supplies millions with the worlds most valuable resource -- fresh water. We do our due diligence to protect this. This is something that we should never take for granted.
